About This
- Steel Structure: The ball joint separator is made from high carbon steel with heat treatment and black oxide coated pins for superior strength, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting durability. Designed for heavy-duty professional use and DIY mechanics alike.
- Adjustable Size Range: Fork opening adjusts from 1-1/8" (28mm) to 2-1/8" (54mm), suitable for a wide range of ball joint and tie rod sizes on most cars, trucks, and SUVs. Detachable pins enhance compatibility for different models.
- Easy Operation: Simply slide the fork between the ball joint boot and the spindle support arm, secure the tool, and turn with a 15/16-inch socket wrench to quickly and safely separate the ball joint. Applying lubricant before use helps the tool work more smoothly.
- Versatile Two-Level Design: Features a dual-size adjustable opening and detachable pins to fit various ball joint setups. Ideal for removing ball joints, tie rods, and control arms on most cars and light trucks (not for 3/4 or 1-ton trucks). Designed for efficient repairs with less effort using leverage.
- Great Functionality & Wide Application: Widely used for separating arms, tie rods, and ball joints on cars and trucks. Specifically designed for quick, safe, and easy separation of vehicle ball joints from the spindle support arm, helping you complete repairs efficiently.
- Durability & Reliability: Forged from robust steel with precision threads and anti-rust black oxide finish, this tool is built to last and withstand repeated heavy use in demanding workshop environments.
