About This
- High Temperature Resistant: Deecam exhaust heat wrap is made of high-quality fiberglass. Exhaust wraps can withstand high temperatures up to 1112°F (600°C) and are fire retardant, high and low temperature resistant. Compared with other insulation materials, exhaust wrap has low thermal conductivity, is resistant to wear and tear, lasts longer and is environmentally friendly.
- Heat and Sound Insulation: Exhaust header wrap can solve the issues of engine and exhaust pipe temperature. Exhaust wrap reduces the heat dissipation of exhaust gases and improves the efficiency of exhaust gas reuse. Heat wrap reduces the heat emission under the hood by 50%, plays a role in preventing high temperatures from damaging the engine, power cables and piping and other surrounding components and improves the efficiency of the entire system. Exhaust heat tape can also reduce noise and prevent burns.
- Range of Use: Heat wrap for exhaust pipes is the best choice for sound and heat insulation of motorcycles, cars, tractor and truck exhaust pipes and engines. Heat shield tapes are also suitable for outdoor piping, domestic hot water pipes and so on. Exhaust tape has strong resistance to abrasion, oil leakage, high temperatures and vibration.
- Install Guide: Before installation, soak the exhaust wrap tape in water for 10-20 minutes. Then, wrap the exhaust heat wrap around the exhaust pipe by encircling heat wrap and fix it with stainless steel ties with locking steel balls to complete the installation easily. The temperature of the exhaust pipe near the engine side is higher, so suggest wrap more than two layers of the exhaust wrap will have better results. (Warm tips: Please wear gloves throughout the installation process.)
- Brand Support: Our exhaust wrap kits include a roll of 2'' x 33' black heat wrap and 10 stainless steel self-locking cable ties. This high temp exhaust wrap is enough for wrapping your motorcycle exhaust pipe and the stainless steel ties can be easily tightened.
